Technology Assistance

Visit the APS Ed Tech at Home page and the APS At Home Family Resources page for resources to help students and parents navigate online learning resources and technology including the devices that were handed out to each student.

If you are having other difficulties with technology you can call the APS help desk at 505-830-8080.

Our final mass Chromebook distribution will be Thursday 8/13 from 2:00-4:30. If you are unable to attend this distribution, we will begin making individual arrangements with students beginning Friday 8/14. Call 823-2327 for an appointment.

Student Communication

Students now have two email accounts that they should check regularly. SynergyMail is the email system available through their StudentVUE account and new this year, all students have a Gmail account through APS.

To access your SynergyMail, login to your StudentVUE account (either through the app on your mobile device or through the website) and click on the SynergyMail link. Teachers and school staff will use this system to send you important information. If you have downloaded the app on your mobile device, we recommend turning on your notifications so you don't miss an important message. If you don't have the app, develop a habit of checking it regularly.

APS Gmail for Students
New this year, all students now have a Google email account through APS. The email address that is used to login to devices is now an active email. These emails are your studentID (ex: Please note that although the email address ends in it is an account that is accessed through Students can simply go to and login using the email address and school password. If you need help resetting that password, please see the section below. Teachers and school staff will start using this email system more so please set up your account. Also, all Google Classroom notifications are being sent to this email. We recommend adding this account to your mobile phone email and turning on the notifications. For help doing this, please click on the links below based on what device you have.

Dial-A-Teacher (Free HomeWork Help)


The Albuquerque Teachers Federation provides a free Dial-A-Teacher program for homework help. They will open on September 8th and help is available from 5:30-8:00pm Monday through Thursday. All you have to do is CALL: 505.344.3571. Teachers are available to help in English and Spanish.

How to Access StudentVUE

There are two ways to access StudentVUE. The first is through a web browser and the second is by downloading the app onto your mobile device. You can begin by visiting this website StudentVUE. On this site you will see links to login and an icon that links to an account creation guide if you haven't ever set up your StudentVUE account. Keep in mind that the password you use for this system will be the password you use to login to your APS Google account which is used to access your Google Classrooms, GoogleMeets, and login to all computers.

 In the future if you need to access the website via computer, the easiest way to by going to the La Cueva homepage ( and clicking on the ParentVUE/StudentVUE link under important information.

If you need to reset your password, you can go to the Password Reset page. If you are still having difficulty accessing your account, please call 505-823-2327 ext 33002.
