Beginning of Year Information for Students (2020-21)

How to Access StudentVUE

There are two ways to access StudentVUE. The first is through a web browser and the second is by downloading the app onto your mobile device. You can begin by visiting this website StudentVUE. On this site you will see links to login and an icon that links to an account creation guide if you haven't ever set up your StudentVUE account. Keep in mind that the password you use for this system will be the password you use to login to your APS Google account which is used to access your Google Classrooms, GoogleMeets, and login to all computers.

 In the future if you need to access the website via computer, the easiest way to by going to the La Cueva homepage (lacueva.aps.edu) and clicking on the ParentVUE/StudentVUE link under important information. 
 

REsetting your password

If you need to reset your password or are new to APS and need to set up your password, you can go to the Password Reset page. If you are still having difficulty accessing your account, please call 505-823-2327 ext 33002.

Accessing your Schedule

La Cueva will release student schedules via StudentVUE on August 5th at 12:00pm.  If you do not know how to login to StudentVUE or need to reset you password, please follow the steps above. Once logged in, you can simply click on the Class Schedule tab to view your 2020-21 schedule.

 

Schedule Corrections

If there is an error on your schedule, you can submit a request to talk to a Counselor. Remember, we do not do schedule changes, only corrections. This policy was explained during pre-registration and can be found on page 8 of the 20-21 Course Catalog 

All students are expected to continue and complete the courses they select. Adequate schedule planning for students, teachers, and classroom space can be completed only when school officials can consider students’ schedule requests to be final and binding. There will be times when a correction is necessary. The special circumstances that can precipitate a schedule correction review are: completion of summer school coursework, failed courses from a previous semester, changing to a course with a higher degree of difficulty in the same subject area, or fulfillment of a graduation requirement.

If you need to have your schedule corrected, please fill out the form below. We will reach out to you within one business day to discuss what is needed. Please keep in mind if you have a class on your schedule that you don't like, if you put it on your pre-registration card as a first or second choice, there is no correction that can be made. We build the master schedule based on student requests so we cannot accommodate a change.
