Communication
Getting information out to parents is always a challenge. We strive to use multiple methods of communication so that you can find the information easily and in a timely manner. Here is a list of some of the ways we disseminate information.
La Cueva Homepage
- Calendar - The Upcoming Events section on the homepage is the main school calendar and will be populated with special events and bell schedule changes. Click on the View Full Calendar link under the Upcoming Events heading to see the entire calendar.
- News & Announcements - This section of the homepage includes a link to Mrs. Lee's X account (formerly Twitter) account where you will see celebrations and announcements. You will need to be logged in to X (formerly Twitter) to see the current information. Also in this section, we will include links to important announcements. Check this section often.
School Messenger
School Messenger is the APS system the school uses to send out mass emails and phone calls. We try to limit the amount of messages we send out so we do not fill up your inbox. It is very important that we have a valid email address in our system for you. To check the email address we have on file, log in to your ParentVUE and click on the My Account link. Once there, you can update your information and it will update it in our system.
This system is also used to send out automated phone calls about school delays/closings, important events, and attendance calls.
Announcements
We make announcements at the beginning of the second class of the day. We will be posting these announcements in the Spotlights section of the La Cueva homepage so parents and students can access them at anytime.
We use Twitter to celebrate the accomplishments of our students. If you have a Twitter account, make sure you follow @PrincipalLCHS, @lacuevasenate and @LCHS_Bears (athletics).
