College Checklists
If you are looking for a checklist to see what you can do from now until graduation, take a look at these sites:
Researching Colleges
The College Board's BigFuture website is a great way to start your college search.
College Research Worksheet
Below is a link for a generic College Research Worksheet. I encourage you to make a copy, change it, and make it your own. For instance, you can add a section or delete a question to list what is important to you. It is often hard to remember what each college offers when you research and it helps to write it down.
ACT/SAT
We recommend that students plan to take their ACT or SAT in the spring of their junior year. Schools across the nation accept either the ACT or SAT. The choice is yours, but signing up is your responsibility. If you are on free or reduced price lunch you can get a fee waiver from the Counseling Office.
