AP Updates May 2020

The College Board has been sending emails directly to students. They have posted a lot of resources for students on their website. Here are a few that should help you from now until test day.

8. Send your free score report

You must sign in to My AP to indicate the college, university, or scholarship organization that you want to receive your one free score send. You have until the June 20 deadline to use your free score send online. Note that this process is new: before school year 2019-20, students indicated their score send recipient on their answer sheet on exam day.

9. AP Meeting Form - fill this out to let me know you are ready to take the exam and if you need printed copies or technology to take the exam. 


AP Updates - march 2020

The College Board has announced drastic changes due to the challenges everyone is facing because of the shutdowns caused by COVID-19. They are posting updates on their website Information for AP Students Affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). Check this website often for more updates. Here are some of the highlights:

  • All AP Exams for 2020 will be taken online and at home. More details will be sent out about this in April
  • Students will be able to select from two different test dates (to be announced after April 3rd
  • The College Board is providing free remote learning resources and your teachers may be opening up resources in the myAP system. These are not for a grade, they are just resources for your to practice with.
  • The exams will be 45-minutes long and will be only free-response
  • Students will be able to take these streamlined exams on any device they have access to—computer, tablet, or smartphone. Taking a photo of handwritten work will also be an option.
  • The College Board is providing resources to students who do not have access to internet or electronic devices. Let Mrs. Chandler know ( if you need help with this.

If you would like to cancel your registration, you can get a full refund. You need to send an email to our test ordering company's cancellation desk at and include:

  • Student name
  • Name of their school (including city/state)
  • title of the exam to cancel

The ordering deadline has passed so students cannot sign up for any new exams.
