Clay Hsieh- LCHS 2025 Selfless Senior!
Congratulations to Clay Hsieh La Cueva's 2025 Selfless Senior. Clay's commitment to mentoring young mathematicians at the elementary and middle school grades has inspired many students to develop a lifelong passion for mathematics. By volunteering before school and on weekends, he has helped these students achieve success in local and national competitions, earning both cash prizes and national recognition.
100 Career Victories for Mason Posa!
Mason Posa making some history as we begin the year. He celebrates his 100th career victory with a pin at the Las Cruces Invitational. He is our first Bear to win this tournament.
Marching Band Performs at State!
LCHS Marching Band performing this year at State! We have such a great band that is so fun to watch and listen to!
Congratulations Unified Sports!
Congratulations to our students who are part of our Unified Sports program for being recognized as a National Unified Champion School!
La Cueva Las Ositas Dance Team takes 1st Place!
1st competition, 1st place Varsity Jazz! This team really showed up today and has been working so hard! Hard work pays off!
Congratulations Ms. Conell!
President Biden honored 336 teachers and mentors from around the nation as recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching and the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring.
One of those honored was one of our very own LCHS math teachers, Ms. Conell! Thank you Ms. Conell for being a dedicated teacher for our students. They are lucky to have you and we are lucky to have you at LCHS! If you see Ms. Conell in the hallways, make sure to tell her congratulations!
La Cueva MCJROTC has won the NM CyberPatriot -17 State Championship in the All-Service Division. Great job, Bears!
